I decided to go to a show at the last minute tonight. It was Rise Against. They played at the rockwell. There were three opening bands, but I only got to see one of them play. Screamo stuff, but decent. They didn't cause me to go into a seizure or anything. But they look and sound like a million other bands I've seen in the last five years or so. Rise Against was great. I saw them open up for AFI in Chicago about four years ago. Great, I hope they come back again.
I felt like an old bastard. A bunch of 15, 16 year olds running around. Ugh. I drove by the club around seven. I was on my way to meet someone, and the kids were already lining up for the show. I had flashbacks to the days when I would get to a show hours early so I can get close to the stage. Nowadays, I just arrive by the time the headliner takes the stage. Ha ha. Makes me laugh. I am old and lame now.
Fudge, I still want to see the alligator. If I get around to it, I will take pics and post them on here. Everybody should see an albino alligator. It's good luck from what I here.
