last night, at work, these three girls came into the bar: 2 had identification but one didn't. all was cool - ms. un-ID ordered a coke. her friends wondered why i couldn't give her a shot. i replied because there's no way that i'm going to take your word that she's 21, especially in this town. one of the of-age girls says, well, can you give me a shot? i say that i can, sure. but i'm not stupid - i know what they are gonna try to do. so i make one of the of-age girls take the shot in front of me. because that's just how i do things. they weren't happy - at all - trying to make a case that, under my logic, if parents come in with their young kids and order shots, i should make the parents take the shots in front of me. hah - really, what parent is gonna do shots with their 8 year old? maybe i'll try that next time. my nametag says "trainer" on it, because i train people to wait on tables. they told me that i should go back into training and i laughed and said, you're probably right and they thought i was nuts. i think that's hilarious. anyway, so i think i might get fired soon. it's gonna be real sweet. hah.
