I'm glad to see everyone's doing alright this summer even if some of us are now addicted to Dave, myself included. You've gotta love the re-re-re-showings of Top Gear from like '03.
Also, my friend who was killed in Afghanistan is now home. His funeral is this thursday.
There is an expected 3,000 people who shall be street-side for the military procession through the town.
I'm quite humbled by that, but my anger hasn't faded totally yet.

I hope the funeral does sufficient tribute to your friend. I had to attend my Aunties funeral this week, they're never a nice thing to have to do... but in a way they are, for the beautiful way everyone thinks back on the person... talking about the good times they had and the fun things they remember. Sharing their memories.
It will always be hard, of course.
