hey guys!
how was everyone's weekend?!
mine was pretty damn good. friday i worked until 11 but had no calls for the entire 10 hrs i worked. so we watched dazed and confused, half baked and some of ladder 49 lol. pretty good work day if i say so myself hehe. saturday i went into the city again with wisdominican and got my tragus and cartilage pierced.
what's weird is i think they hurt more than the nipple piercings lol. strange.
after that me and my boy went to see DETHKLOK!! probably one of the most amazing shows i've ever been to. okay this is how it was. take the movie School of Rock with Jack Black and replace Jack Black with Brendon Small (aka nathan explosion aka maker or metalocalypse). it was him playing with a bunch of kids ages 7-18 and holy shit these kids could fucking shred. if i heard them play off an album i would've thought they were experienced musicians. so there actually is a school of rock that these kids learn to play at. you can check it out here
Paul Green's School of Rock there was this little kid, had to be 7 or 8 maybe 9 and the guitar was bigger than him but oh man he could fucking play. so what they did since there was about 14 kids or so after every song they would quickly rotate and other kids would come play...brendon small was always up there with them too. he's a pretty awesome guitarist. but yeah i could go on for days about this show lol. so i'll just end it with amazing show all around.
on a not so great note, i think i'm getting tonsillitis for the...let's count em...FOURTH time. urgh. can not WAIT to get them out in may. what a pain in the ass.
okay well i'm off. i have to clean my room since my entire wardrobe is on my bed and i would like to go to sleep.
