I submit this and this as evidence that my time here is growing short. More and more, this inanity dominates the boards and groups. I pay for this crap? Jesus, I could just open my window and listen to the asshats outside.
I loaned someone a book, and she returned it badly (she left it downstairs in my lobby, without calling to tell me she was dropping it off until some 12 hours later). It actually got thrown away .... but was retrieved and returned. So I sort of made out even on that one. But the book has kind of a .. well, it stinks.
.... I'm in the process of airing it out. It'll make it.
Last night, I watched Frailty. It's a nice little flick. The fact that reasonable horror movies like this do badly is just annoying. And people wonder why we're stuck with Boogeyman, House of Wax, and other genre crap. I'm also reading the book version of Layer Cake - totally wicked.
