Also: holy crap - I've been on this site since 2006, six years this month. That's a long time.

I'm currently writing a class lecture on statistical significance. I've always heard that you don't really learn statistics until you teach it. I'm only teaching Baby Stats, but I can totally testify to that being true: t-tests make sense to me like never before.

Edited to add: That should say I've been here since 2004. I could change it. But I like how I juxtapose learning t-tests with an inability to subtract. It speaks to the waste that is higher education or something. I'm sure some Republican will use this as a reason to cut college funding. Woohoo!
