I'm going to try and avoid talking about work, school, and so on. I think, for about the last four months, that's all I've been talking about. Let's move on, shall we?

Over the weekend, I went home to spend a few days with the family over my spring break. It was a good visit: ate some good food and hung out with some friends. I was also injured at a strip club. Seriously.

On Friday night, I met up with some friends and as the night wore on, we decided to swing by a local club for some fun. Sort of a "married guys escape." It was actually pretty quiet at the club, and at one point my friends wandered to the bar. That left me as the only guy on the tip rail at the stage. The woman dancing was on fire, and I kept tossing bills her way and she was just killing. Towards the end of her set, she was on her knees and she leaned forward off the stage and into me. And then she just kept leaning, pushing me back - until she tipped me and my stool right the hell over. So I tumbled over, thumped my head on the carpet, and so on. I lived, she was totally apologetic and gave me a big hug. But, all I could think was "wouldn't it be embarrassing to crack your head open at the nudie bar?" Anyway, I lived.

Beyond that, the weekend was good. I did learn that I'm getting too old to sleep with soft pillows on the fold out couch. My neck was *destroyed* by Sunday, and I still haven't fully recovered (and I suppose falling down at the strip club didn't help on that account...). That said, it was all worth it.
