Tomorrow, I'm delivering my practice job talk for the first time in front of people and all. It's been getting smoother at home, when I've been running it in front of the mirror. Then, Monday, I'll present it at workshop. And I'm working inviting a few friends over midweek next week to watch it a third time. And, finally, before I head out - I'll draft my wife to watch it a couple of times too.
In other news: Cute Midwest Liberal Arts School and Decent Midsize State School have also contacted me for phone interviews.
Sadly, my first pick schools have not been in touch with me. But that's just me being a bitch. I actually feel, for the first time, like I have a shot at - you know - landing gainful employment before I'm 30.
