I had a pretty glorious weekend of not doing too much at all. I mean, sure, I banged out some work and so on. But mostly, there was *relaxing.* It was the calm before the storm: the wife starts her finals prep this week. I travel this weekend and at the end of May, and I have a workshop presentation at the end of May. So it was nice to catch my breath.

I spent a bit more money than I planned this weekend: but I needed sneakers and some new pants. All of my jeans, it seems are either about a size too big and/or all raggedy looking. So woot for pants that fit!

On Saturday, we also checking out Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which was hi-larious. Also: Mila Kunis is like impossibly hot. I knew she was *pretty*, but seriously: she's amazing. And OK, I'm not some acting snob: but she was like *really* good in this. Just little things in her body language. I would actually say, hands down, she might be the best person in the movie. And the hottest. (Sorry Kristen Bell. I'll always love Veronica, though.)

If I had to complain about one thing about the movie, it was actually *be* the character of Sarah Marshall. I was never quite clear if we were supposed to hate her, sympathize with her, or just accept her as a flawed person. I think it was the latter, but sometimes the first theme (re: hate her!) seemed to be the way things were going? It just felt like, compared to the other characters, she was kind of muddled and odd.
