The first thing you need to know: Diane Keaton is *luminous.* I love Diane Keaton. And not just in that "wow, she's a really fine actor way." I mean, she is that. But I mean I *love* Diane Keaton. And not just Annie Hall-era Diane Keaton. I would totally make out with Diane Keaton like tomorrow. For real.
I was home over the weekend/first part of this week. It was nice. Home always makes me a little sad. Here's a heart breaker for you. On my last night there, my dad told me: "You can come home and visit any time you, for as long as you want." I felt like a jackass for not coming home *every* weekend at that point. But it was a real fine time, like I said. I went to the new art museum in Davenport, the Figge. They had this cool exhibit, The Architect's Brother. The exhibit was this sort of steampunk/retro/environmentalist piece, done in a collage style. Very cool.
That's about all I got right now. Classes start on Monday. Undergrads and first years have arrived. It's time for me to buckle down and start building data sets and working on my cases. Sigh. Work begins.
