Is it just me, or does this place feel a bit like a Maxim magazine, just with piercings and a (really badly working) message board?
It's not the models, by the way. (In fact, the sets over the past few days have been dizzyingly wonderful.) This is a *tone* thing.
I'm going to edit this to add even more bitchiness. I don't get people who defend the site against people who complain about the operation of the site. The site is not a person and it is not your friend. It is not crying b/c you said something nasty about it. As is made abudantly clear again and again (by the very staff hardcore users are so ready to defend!), this is a business, which we all pay to access. It seems if people do not like their service, they've paid for the right to bitch. And everyone else needs to chill the fuck out about it. There's something deliciously ironic about people who would proudly fly their free thinking ways defending what is essentially a corporate brand.
