Minor Internet Pet Peeve:

It really bugs me when people show up to "appreciation threads" to knock whatever is being appreciated. Now, i'm not "anti-debate." So, if the thread is "what bands rock?" and there is disagreement - cool beans. I just don't get people who show up to say the "Scarlett Johanssen is a Goddess" thread to say that S.J. is not a hottie. First, it's objectively, scientifically *wrong.* Second, why piss on someone else's party?

The internet - continuing to confound me and crap on my sense of "the innate goodness of humanity" since 1995.

Have a good weekend. I'm having a dinner party and going to fucking Indiana. What's your excuse? wink
