What to say, what to say...
I feel like this needs to be updated so everyone can keep informed about how my life is going (short answer: good). Of course, do I try to be specific with things, and thus write a whole lot... or be vague and make it quick? I am not really sure, so expect something in-between.
Work is going fairly well, though I am helping more in integration at the moment than actually making or extending the capabilities of the system. But that should change fairly soon. Though we are coming to the end of a milestone, and I am not sure if I am expected to get anything else in before we finish. Frankly, I hope I can just play maintenance man and fix anything that might break and make sure everything is working okay (or maybe optimization), rather than having the stress of trying to get something new in quickly. But I am keeping the list of stuff that I am working on in my 'Must Play' list, and am updating it when I am doing new things. Actually, I am constantly updating that as the month goes on, so feel free to check back on it from time to time if interested.
On the homefront, life is good as well. I think I am playing a bit too many video games these days, but I am having trouble thinking of other things to do (other than pick up the guitar again, which I plan to do tonight). Plus, I am itching to visit some nearby friends at some point, though I am not sure when this will be feasible. Being employed, my wife will work most weekends, and she needs the car to do so, so it will be difficult for me to travel anywhere. Add to that, we are going home for our anniversary, which this year falls on the weekend of the Notre Dame / Stanford game, so getting a hotel is difficult (though technically the house next to my parents' is empty, though that was because of a fire, so it isn't exactly safe). So that is a bit of a bummer as well.
Well, that is all I feel like typing at the moment. I need to put more opinion pieces on this thing, as it is a bit boring typing about my life at the moment. Or maybe I am just tired...
