I have an appointment this morning to speak with a high ranker in the Israeli equivalent of the security section of the pentagon.

Yesterday out of the 400 guys in a hanger I was one of 7 who didn't get chozen for combat.

When I went in to speak with the placement officer I happened to mention my computer skillz and he jumped all over it:

"Can you do internet?"

"Yes, HTML, xml, PERL, Javascript, Java,...uh..."

"asp?"

"A little, I need to learn it better."

"Are you interested in Hasbara work on server side?"

"!!! That is EXACTLY what I would want to do in the army!!!"

"Ok, I need to make a call to central intellgience and I'll call you back in here in a second...the only problem I see with you is your Hebrew but there are ways around that."

"...uh...Thank you, sir"

The thing that you have to understand here is that NO ONE EVER gets the job that they want in the army...but apparently I might.
