Buy a book, help start an aspiring author's career

Okay, so, here's the deal: I'm linking my amazon wishlist here

If you want your name put on the contributors list in the front of 'Collectivity' then buy me a book from this list. I'd prefer it if you buy one of the used books (in the case where it says that there are used books available) since they are less expensive for you and I hate killing trees.

This is the list of all the books which are resources that I want to help me write 'Collectivity' better. Whatever you guys don't buy me I'm gonna have to buy myself cause I need all these books for reference to make my book as accurate as I can, but if everyone on my friends list spends on average $15 then it would cover allmost all the books.

I have 0% doubt that my book will get published because I know people who are good friends with publishers and owe my mother a favor, so even if the book wouldn't get published via merit (yeah, right) it will get published. So you don't have to sweat that.

Your name will go higher on the list based on how much you spend on the book(s) and you have until September to buy me one (or more) if you want on the list. I'm going back to Illinois in September and secluding myself from everything but a light day job (and nearby SG events) to write the book in the months before I join the IDF.

I'm going to keep everyone updated on the book's progress and keep dropping excerpts from it here on my journal but if I get enough support (more than 75% of the books on the list
get bought by SG people) I will also make an official web-site based on the underlying philosophy of the book which is what most of my efforts are focusing on currently (and why I don't need these other books just yet).

Please don't order a book before you tell me which one you want to order in case I get someone else who was going to order that one. (Note that I have 17 people on my friends list and 23 books listed so their shouldn't be any overlap).

If you have some problem with this idea then by all means: don't order me a book. It won't hurt my feelings if for some reason you don't. I just think this is a damn cool idea personally since SG is the target audience of this book. If you have a question about why any given book is on the list then ask about it and I will explain, each one was carefully chosen.
