i went to bauhaus and finally finished steppenwolf. it kept slapping me around and giving me papercuts. but i finally bought some toilet paper and came home. the book reminded me how i'm much too final in the way i do things, much too serious. i expect the world to change every moment and i accept it doing so, but i'm hard-pressed to allow myself the same fluidity... focused on the wrong things am i.
