a friend of mine in dc had a friend visit. somewhere between the airport and the cab ride to her apartment her friend lost her wallet. the two spent the night drinking wine, catching up, and cancelling credit cards. her friend left and upon arriving called my friend up and had some fantstical news. while in the cab on the way to her hotel, the cab driver overheard her plight as she talked to her boyfriend on the telephone . the cab driver proceed in giving her 100 dollars and saying, " this is the cab company's money, just send it back when you can, i'll take full responsibility for it, don't worry about it." how fucking great is that. go world.
in unrelated news i downloaded a vinyl rip of the new white stripes album. good times.
