Home 'sick' today. Not really sick, but getting there. Mostly just a head cold, but I'm also getting the chest crap that makes it hurt when you cough. Just took some NyQuil, so I'll be crashing soon. I'd kill for a cough drop right now. I finished them last night & I'm too lazy to go out & get more.
Pixies last night were very good. Not as much excitment around the show as when I saw them in Winnipeg, but still a great show. Started out with slower stuff (Wave of Mutilation-Surf Version, Here Comes Your Man, Nimrod's Son-they slowed it waaaaaay down on the second verse). Overall it was very good. I tried to get tix for tonights show, but no floor seats were available. But, I have tix to The Futureheads & I'm excited for that. I saw them open for Franz Ferdinand & was very impressed & that was way before I even had their album. Is it bad that I'm 'sick' and that I'm still going to a show tonight? I say no.
