So I tried to host a party for a friend of mine. She is trying to open her own tattoo parlor but fell short on funds so I invited a bunch of my friends over and made an open invitation here to anyone that wanted to come and get a $60 dollar cheap "Halloween" style tattoo. She had a cool set of small flash that I thought people might be interested if they just showed up...
The event was listed 7:00pm to 11:00pm and until about 10:00 it was only me and her. By the time people got there she was bored I was out of excuses and tired of telling people "get here now". She left at 10:45 because the only folks that showed up were drunk and uninterested in getting tattooed.
I supplied over 200 dollars worth of booze another 100 bucks of random eats and all for not. Such a disappointment. I left the house and went downtown and started getting text messages from people asking why I invited them to a party if I wasn't going to be there... Seriously!
