So my camping trip to lake Somerville was awful. For one the sights were tiny while the park officals told us that we should be able to get 8 people on a sight we really were only able to get 4 comfortably and we squeezed on two more to make room. Then the lake itself was decaying... seriously the water was black almost as black as oil, there was this orange protein froth foaming up the shore line, dead fish everywhere dead muscles rolling around in the break.... and to top it all off it reeked like a garbage dump. I spent 4 hours on Saturday cleaning up the shore line, found a dirty diaper, beer cans, different shoes, a holey towel, a base ball cap, a Gatorade bottle with a whitish fluid in it, a half dozen syringes and license plate.
Never ever going back there again.
