Spent all day composing a new resume yesterday, and then asked someone to proof read it for me. I am glad I did that because I would have looked like a joke. I have now learned to not work on your resume when your pissed about something.
My current roommate is supposed to be out by then end of the week kinda makes me sad cause I know I won't ever hear from her again. I am sure I will run into her once or twice a year cause now that she has a "hot rod" she's going to go to all the car shows. She's also very mad at me for texting her that I was upset because her cat pissed all over my armchair and a stack of clean dish towels that I hadn't put away yet. I asked her to dinner last night and she asked "why would I want to go to dinner with you after what you said yesterday"?
"What did I do?"
"You wrote me a nasty email yesterday while I was at lunch with my sister helping her through her bad day."
"Nasty what do you mean nasty?"
"You said, (in her best agro-man voice) your cat pissed all over my fucking chair and now it's ruined... exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point"
"Yeah I was ticked to find that your cat Saturday pissed on my clean dish towels and then Sunday pissed all over my armchair."
"Why would you think I would want to got dinner with you after you said something like that?"
"I was ticked off at your cat not at you, why wouldn't you."
"Because your text was rude, exclamation point, exclamation point, exclamation point."
That conversation carried on for awhile back and forth like that, me defending my right to be ticked off and her telling me that I am rude and that she would want to spend time with anyone that spoke to her that way. I don't get it.
