so it went and it went fairly well

I like some parts of my family, and that's pretty normal i guess, and I like fireworks, and that's pretty normal i guess, and I ate like a fat American pig, and well that's terribly normal, right, and I slept my days away, without a care, except when the bastards kept me awake at 2 in the...

going out of town Again... this time for several days... gasp, could I get to like this? Yes. I think I might. Only downside,i gotta get up at the pre ass fucking crack of dawn to avoid the 5 million other people driving around this weekend. Maybe my car won't die, maybe i;ll scoot through traffic like a breeze, maybe I will have fun with...

now all i have to do is find my pants

*laugh* the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step you know. tongue

I hope you're having a wonderful time. robot kiss
oubliette1:
Well, i hope you found your pants of all things, because that would be a little awkward if you didn't.

it's dark in here, but that's just fine. the light's aren't really on, but I'm home, waiting.

this is not a new fashion, not a new way, not a new madness to the method of the day.

but the dark is nice, quiet and calm, easy in it's own way, and frankly, i like it better here.

is it bad? that i feel good, when i have no direction. When i am lost, i feel free, i can choose any direction. Is it that sense of freedom that keeps me from going anywhere? i feel selfish in this, but not. am i alone? but not. surrounded by those i choose, but why? to reinforce the illusion, or to inspire achievement?

huh? Even...

Thanks for the words more than you know.

what would you ask for tonight?
to feel the rain on my face.
what is the last thing you remember before sleeping?
that my stuffed cow was not in my hand.
how do you measure distance on the internet?
in person.
how do you weigh the distance of the real?
untouchable.

~cheers
kay:
Indeed. The bum is on the mend though, I can actually sort of bend over today. If there was a prescription to fill, I do not think it would cover this ill....

wink

well
then I guess it was good, all things considered. No tragic loss of limb and life. no hellish suffering, no really interesting thing for moi. A woman i;ve loved since a million years ago is now engaged, and although I thought I'd feel the sudden unerring dropping of my stomach through my shorts, onto the floor and down through the floor boards. Nope, I...

HAHAHAHA, a steam factory? That is an amusing thought. Oh and the next time you run across the midget elephants would you tell them that I think I left my liver with them the other night and I would like it back at some point. Thanks. biggrin
cutriver:
So it seems both you and klaire have been having ultra-violent dreams. I am concerned for you both...

Also I am, how shall I put this, intrigued by the usage that both you and sugarmama are making of the word 'eminent'. You are dreaming of your 'eminent death'; she is telling me that 'her time is eminent'...
whatever confused wink biggrin

I'd like to hear the story of how you got mugged by an elevator...

Thanks for your encouragement re. my recent posts/adventures... I'm rather afraid that the whispering of asides may prove to have been an unrepeatable anomaly unless I get my act together and do something about it, but I am sans phone number for the young lady concerned...

This evening, though, I was sitting in a computer room (no access to my office today) and sitting along from me was a young lady I had a bit of a crush on a few weeks back (KH, she was three crushes ago in my current crush category wink ) and forced myself to go up and talk to her knowing I would regret it if I didn't. She told me she was planning to go to Switzerland for five months with her boyfriend, a snowboarding instructor. tongue Why do we bother, right? Still, at least she smiled at me...

between you and me, the truth is i just don't know. sure, i wish i could tell you, but i can't. what were they thinking, why did they do it like that, why? children shouldn't sit through that, adults shouldn't encourage such a shapeless evil. in one end, out the other, never to be the same, forever scarred, forever changed. when they feel cruel, they...

I like the new pics! Very cool.

Well, I am off all week, so I am going to do a bit of reading too. It has been a while since I spent some time reading. In fact, that just gave me my journal entry idea for today! Thanks! Gonna go write it.
cutriver:
So what exactly do you mean when you say:

'you fight the Need with the wrong weapons, on the wrong field'?

What are the right weapons and the right field? If you've got advice, let's hear it...

So I've got your astrological profile here and it seems you have your sun in Libra and moon in Cancer - there's a real kind of tension between opposites there, which may explain some of your 'struggles'... wink
Here are some highlights:

Sensitive; emotional; moody; entertaining; adaptable; sociable; love of intimacy; caring and considerate; domestic; artistic; musical; intuitive; prudent mind; talkative; nervous; devoted friend...
the socialite of the family... a romantic individualist, ambitious for both career success in the outer world and for the intimate kinship that keeps you going. Sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, you use your 'feminine' intuition and amazing adaptability to help others as well as to protect yourself from disharmony...
You know what you feel, but is it really true?... moody, apprehensive and a little timid... natural diplomacy and charisma... Intimate friendships in which true affection and trust are shared are vital for your happiness. When you feel appreciated and truly 'seen' you purr like a kitten (!)... at other times you sink into a brooding, withdrawn shell... you get hurt easily... need for a harmonious home life and a steady emotional environment...
You have a good mind for art, history, mythology, music and teaching...
Strengths: sensitivity, warmth and concern for others; emotional energy; intellectual curiosity and alertness; quiet individualism and respect for others' rights; artistic imagination and powers of communication; adaptability in the face of obstacles...
Weaknesses: tendency to over-romanticize; sentimentality; need to please others; emotional instability and vulnerability; proneness to self-pity...
Famous libra-cancer personalities: Graham Greene, Olivia Newton-John wink , Paul Simon, Eleanour Roosevelt...

What do you think? Complete nonsense or do you recognise something of yourself in there?
