this update isn't 15 hours behind... it's 12 hours early.

what did you miss. well not much, no yams to be sure. I might have skipped dinner, in favor of a particularly reserved (sliding scale) time at the bar with my best friend. Fun. then home, to IM and WoW. i am either an adventurer in hell or a geek in heaven. how to reconcile the two?

i'll keep this short, so i don't lose the tenuous grip on focus i managed to wake up with. oh, yeah, i Actually slept well last night, although not nearly enough. whatever trouble's my mind and heart these days has started to subside. I don't know how, i don't know why. right now, i don't care. tomorrow, i won't care. i'll settle for the broken pieces fitting together, fitting well enough, although chipped and incomplete. I am ok with this.

one more thing. another phrase that's been flying through my head raising a ruckus, spilling coffee on the controls and interrupting my libido's iron fisted grip on my imagination.

i don't know where it comes from, a movie, a book, a dream. it just stops everything in me for a half a second. i suppose this is proof i'm still a romantic somewhere in here. i choose to continue to disbelieve it. mind you, i've never heard someone say this to me, along with thousands of other things.
