all better, inasmuchas it is to say no more urge to explode at the mere thought of swallowing solid food.

which reminds me of a thought i had not too long ago. Tis said we all start dying from the moment of birth, that life is just the seconds ticking away till the end. I realized life, as organic as it is (haha, sorry) , is certainly not so regimented. We all die in bursts, with hopefully long stretches of living in between. Getting sick, being sad, tired useless midnight spinning, all these things are dying. The rest of it, be it even so mundane as sitting on a bus, if it's enjoyed cannot possibly be a loss of life. Nervous stomach flips just before getting off an airplane, into the arms of a loved one; moonlight phone calls about nothing at all; a million energized things are living for every moment. you and i could be doing so.

addendum: drugs, drinking, smoking, risky, painful, and stupid behavior, over work and undersleep, these are all dying for the love of living. or what some call an affirmation of life. Barter your life as you will, just be sure to be ready to pay in full with interest for your choice of death, some things work faster and pay off harder than others. And i'll raise a pint you and me and all the rest of us as we live one minute at a time, and die for a few seconds every once in a while.

Wow! That was deep and profound. Good food for thought. Lately, I have taken a stance that everything except living in the moment can wait. So what if sometimes I don't get enough sleep or I have to scrimp and eat ramen for a while cause I spent the money on tattoos, you only go around once and you might as well live every second of it. However, as you said, some of this kind of reckless abandon does take its toll. I figure I am evening out from living too much of my life too scared to seize it. What is sad is that the older I get the more I realize that the old adage is true. Youth IS wasted on the young. (Not that I am ancient, but I realize that there are things that I wished that I had had the guts to do at 21.) EEP! I ramble. blush

mmmmmmmmmmm, yes ~ so true, my dear, so true. i guess the best way to progress toward a rich and satisfying death is a well lived life, really. i hope that when i die i have comfort knowing that i lived Every Minute to the best of my ability. i am still working on that, but getting better all the time.

sending you life. kiss
