so Me is grounded. Me managed to break several of the hallowed and oft abused drinking by-laws. Not a hanging offense, per se, but Me's desire to have too good a time, the availability and time scale of said good time, and the ill advised alchemy of the good time all factored into the punishment. And punishment was metered out in a judicial, expedient manner. Me is further inhibited from having too much sway in the council of merriment for a period most likely to extend as far as two more days, after which the council will most likely not remember to inhibit in any fashion with a semblance of effectiveness.

Yr questions:
1) well a week isn't too long is it really? You couldn't get far and see stuff at the same time... The places I've always wanted to see most are, like you, Japan, and then all of North America, but especially Alaska. So maybe that's my answer: Alaska.
But, this afternoon, I saw a film set in/about Brazil, with all these violent street kids from the favelas in Rio and I'm thinking, Jesus, why would anyone want to go to Brazil, the place is fucked, but meanwhile, the rest of me is thinking, what more exciting holiday destination could there be...?
2) Space: er, probably not, really. I can, y'know, see it from here.
3) all of them. But especially, ooh, Russian, German, Chinese, Japanese, Hebrew, I could go on... I once had dreams of learning several more (and, at least German, Russian and Japanese), but doubt whether I'll manage it now. Still I have French, if you need any pointers...
