one of those things about being unemployed, weekends don't mean so much, 'cept you get to hang out with your workin friends.

that was a pretty interesting month. i'd best get my shit back in gear, now that i'm sort of vaguely settled in and oh yes, have nicely reduced my available funds on petty and useless items best found on the disposable income list. of which, by all rights, i should have none. but then, i don't really care right now. i refuse the stress. i am at least trying to stay away from the computer for extended lengths of time. getting out into the world to occasionally pretend to do useful things.

it's generally very good. except when it's not. my one serious concern is the person i'm intensely interested in is somewhere on the 600 mile scale. better than when i was in AK, but still out of direct reach. i suppose it'll work itself out.

Happy belated b-day! 30 wasn't that traumatic for me: it was 27 that hit me harder...And now that I'm into my 30's I'm lovin' it.

So are you back down in N. Cali? I'm with Twitch, just stay in PDX. It's a happenin' & manageable little town. I lived in SF for about 4 years before comng to the big O & I have to say that I don't miss it at all.

Either way, glad you got to have some hot sex on the way down. That always makes a long trip go faster. biggrin

Ah yes, getting one's shit together...I am pulling mine together a little at a time. But that's how it is when you are making massive changes in your life. I hate to say it, but those 12 steppers do have 1 thing right: it is best to take things 1 day at a time. Other wise a crushing sense of overwhelming uncertainty can paralyze you.

to quote a song from long ago and far away, "you could do it put yo' ass into it." Does that even make sense to anyone else but me? Probably not, bu tI'm used to it...
