Yea, so grindhouse movie day was fu8n dispite the only 2 SG members there being me, and the cool girl's idea who 's it was. Luckily she brought a few cool people as well. Plus, she has good weed and an awsome hooka.... and a really cool apartment. i'd have her decorate my place if i wasnt such a slob. It was funny, we both hit on the same girl... with basically the same approach.

oh, bout the movie.. not really spoilers, but my opinion of the flics in general.
SPOILERS! (Click to view) Planet Horror was the shit, A class zombie like movie... including multiple character story arcs, clicks, and dynamics. Good zombie origins and explinations. And Rose Mcgowan as a go go dancer... with a machine gun leg.
now... Death Proof.. the rolling momentum of awesome hits a giant brick fucking wall named Quinton Tarentino. Although the 1st half of the movie is a nice mellow idiosyncratic character development with easy enjoyable conversations to listen too and a cool sound track, which is basically Tarentino's only strong point.. the half way point in his movie transitions into a whole new dynamic where the movies main character played my kurt russle has a total shift in personality, motivation, motive, and attitude. Not just him, but the whole feel of it changes. Ultimately, the poster for death proof was cooler then the movie.
The general view of the group was wanting to go see it again, but leave b4 the 2nd movie started.
