Today, or I guess yesterday now, I started my new shift at work. I was working 7am - 4pm Mon - Fri during training, but now I'm working 4:30 pm - 3 am Mon - Thurs. Looking forward to 3 day weekends! I just finished my first shift and it went by surprisingly fast and my feet actually didn't hurt at all tonight. The only shitty part is is that now that I work a different shift, I no longer have a ride. It took me over an hour to get to work by bus and when I get off at 3 am, there are no busses running anymore. It cost me $20 to get home by cab. I definitely cannot afford that everyday. I need to buy a car ASAP, but I want to get off contract before I do that. This is stressing me out. Tomorrow I will try sweettalking my friend Ryan at work to see if he will give me a ride home from work for gas $. It's totally out of the way for him, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
