The battle of good and evil continues.......
I found myself drowning in constant thoughts of how people in general are selfish, vacuous pricks after seeing a woman almost tip over a carriage.....complete with baby.......just so she could grab the last copy of a book.......no apology.....just a huff as she was scolded justly by the mother and myself.....
.......and then one of my employees over heard a conversation i was having that included the phrase 'because i had no money'. He then rushed over and offered to lend me money and was very concerned. Even when i told him the context of that phrase and said i was fine for money......he was still concerned......
That and a few, out of the blue kind words from a friend and a random stranger.......reminded me (though i mentioned this to another recently) that the good in the world should certainly be cherished.......as they truly are a rarity.
