Today I accepted the inevitable, bowed to the unstoppable onslaught of winter, and put the winter tires on my car. That's my productive activity quota for the month, so I refuse to do anything more until the next.
Now I will lie back and eat grapes. Unfortunately, I don't have a nubile young slave girl to feed them to me, but I guess I'll get by. However, the sign clearly said they were seedless grapes, and I'm finding seeds! I hate when the grocery store lies to me. A few weeks ago the sign said oranges, when they were really tangelos.
Ever eaten a tangelo? They're lemons in orange's clothing. Quite sour.
I've discovered that I like tangerines, though. They taste like oranges, but more...orangey.
Ok, off to do whatever it is I do on Sunday nights. By which I mean nothing, as on any other night.
Update: Also, I'm listening to Bruce Springsteen, We Shall Overcome - The Seeger Sessions. If you have an interest in either Springsteen or Pete Seeger, I recommend it. How could anyone pass up hearing Bruce sing "Froggie Went a Courtin'"?

Not only do I know how to drive but I am that rare breed of New Yorker who has a car in the city and is had to master the art of parallel parking. I also have 4 wheel drive and drive to the mountains... I just had new tires put in place for winter. Ok, I did have it done for me but I don't have a driveway
