I just visited my grandma at her new digs, the North Memorial residential hospice. It's really a nice place, despite its depressing nature. Her room looks out on the lake, so there are ducks and geese. She said that deer walk past her window. She also has a bird feeder just outside. Her room is nice; she can put her own pictures up and such. The employees are great, of course.
I guess the whole point is to make it as un-depressing as possible, isn't it?
My grandpa wasn't enthused about her going there, but that's to be expected. He's not handling this very well, so my aunt is more or less in charge of grandma's healthcare decisions. We agree this is the best thing for her.
The place is also fairly close, so it's easy to visit. Which is good.

Yup, that's what my main point was in the SG Lounge. That I am not comfortable with censorship, but that if this were MY site I wouldn't want that kind of content being displayed.

I'm sure the curiosity is getting the better of you with all the hub-bub going on around here, but believe me, you'll live without ever seeing it, I promise!
