Why is there no one around to talk to at 7:00 am?

Before this week, the weather had been extremely dry around here. No rain for ages. As a result, the geese had retreated to their secret lairs, and I hadn't seen them out marauding for quite some time. Now that it's rained, I see them out again. They're in peoples' yards, eating grass seed. They block traffic as they cross streets in single file. They're a fucking menace, and something must be done about them!

I haven't been keeping up with my gym goals as I should be. Earlier this week I overexerted myself with the weightlifting, and my legs have been killing me ever since. I have to learn to take it easier. I'll just have to start over next week, and hope to do better. I can't get discouraged.

It's important to me, because although I'm by no means obese, I'm not happy with the way I look these days. Oh, I'm still incredibly handsome, to be sure. I just no longer fit my self image. Rather than just complain about it, I must do something about it.
