I just finished watching The Skeleton Key. I thought it was pretty good; I didn't even predict the ending. I like that. Besides, Kate Hudson is a cute one.

The trees in my yard are shedding their leaves. This means it's autumn. It also means I'll have to rake soon. But other than that, I like the fall. The weather is cooling off, and most importantly it means a new season of television. After the long summer of reruns, I'll finally have new episodes to watch. An incomplete list of some of the shows I'll be watching:

• House, M.D.
• Dr. Who
• Heroes
• Law & Order: Criminal Intent
• Grey's Anatomy
• The O.C.

I like the newest incarnation (the tenth) of the Doctor. He may be even better than Christopher Eccleston. The O.C. hasn't started yet, and I have to wait for more new episodes of House until post-season baseball is over, but other than that things are good.

I love my TiVo. Granted, I rarely leave the house, so I'm usually home to catch the newest episodes of all my favorite programs, but it's handy for when two are on at the same time, when I want to watch something again later, or when I want to go outside to have a cigarette in the middle of a show.
