sick

Couldn't sleep last night. I went to bed at 11:30 pm, was up at 3 am. I decided I wasn't going to be able to get back to sleep, so why even try?

I spent an hour or so responding to MathGirl's letter. I wish I could post the letter I wrote here, so you all could see the types of things I write, but it's personal correspondence and I just don't think it would be proper to share it with the entire world. Rest assured, it's poetic, lyrical, hopelessly romantic...at least it was at 3:30 am. By the light of day it probably isn't nearly as good.

Anyway, it's in the mailbox now waiting for the mailman to pick it up.

My stationery is incredibly thick and heavy. The letter took three sheets (they're monarch size, smaller than 8.5x11), and with the envelope, I decided I had better put two stamps on, just in case.

It'll take about a week to arrive. I'm sure the suspense will kill me.

But now I think I'll go try to take a nap.
