My Bluetooth barcode scanner arrived today. Now I can scan all my books and such into Delicious Monster Library! That is, if I could get the damned thing to work.

I have it all connected, but the software won't display the Bluetooth button that tells it to import the barcode information using the scanner.

I've checked the help pages, and none of that worked, so now I've sent an email to the company helpdesk.

Hopefully I'll have this thing up and running soon!

Thanksgiving went ok. I didn't eat too much or anything. But Thanksgiving is always kind of depressing now. It's not the same without Grandma, and the fact that she died the Monday before the holiday, last year, just makes Thanksgiving serve as a reminder.

I got genuine mail from MathGirl today, so that was nice. Though she's in a "strange place" in her life right now, etc. These are generally ominous words, but for I think things will be ok as far as it relates to me.

But I always did have endless hope. Damn Pandora, and her box!
