I keep falling in love with the same girl;
Though she wears a new face each time,
It's always the same person on the inside.
Every time she claims she'll need meed forever,
But she eventually gets bored
And leaves me alone, more fucked up than before.
She never even realizes what she's done.
Or maybe she doesn't care.
I hate her for it.
Oh well. I suppose it's my own fault
For always falling for the disguise;
I should know by not not to believe her lies.

I'm super pissed off at Word. Again. It's supposed to be able to print a book fold - you know, two pages (leafs) per sheet of paper, odd pages on the right-hand pages (recto side), even pages on the left (verso side).

And it should print them so that if you take 8 sheets and fold them (to make a quire), the pages turn out in the right order. Then you take the next 8 sheets of the document, fold them, and they come out in the right order.

The page ordering is called imposition, and Microsoft doesn't know a fucking thing about it.

Page 80 of my book should not be printed on the back of the title page! If it is, when I turn the title page, there's page 80. That isn't the correct order.

I'm ticked, because I'm going to have to order the pages myself. It's time consuming. And I still have to do the actual binding.

I found some software that seems to be handling the imposition thing fairly well. It prints an advertisement on all the pages, though. I probably have to buy it to get rid of that.

But at least the page order is right!

Yeah, I'll be fine. If we have to evacuate, we will. But I'll be fine. When I get back, I'll have to start spending my weekends back in the cities, so wes can drink it up.
