Well I spoke to my ex. She wants to get back with me....but she is afraid that the service will change me.... she wants to get back with me AFTER I get out of basic....Am I right for wanting to get back with her?

I would imagine it would be difficult for anybody to tell you without knowing more about you and your ex and why exactly you broke up and all.

However, if you've already decided once to break up with the person for some reason... your instincts at the time were most likely correct. It's months later when you're feeling lonely that you start to question yourself and make bad decisions.

Take it slow and easy.... She may have a point about the service, and besides, once you are out and about, you may find that there are far better pickings out there that are better for you and your sanity. It is easy to second guess yourself when your mood is low and you are lonely.... I know that point VERY well.....
