I got a new laptop so I promise I will be on more now! I'm still working like a maniac so it won't be super often but i'll do my best!
I'm really excited for this week because it's Thanksgiving on thursday which means no work!!!! The chocolate shop opens at 8am on Saturday so I'm scheduled to work 7:30-3 and the pizza restaurant 4-10. It's going to be a long day.
I've been feeling really productive lately and I'm enjoying it!
I was promoted to assistant manager at the chocolate shop a couple weeks ago and I think it's turned on some bossy ego in me. I wouldn't say I've been on a power trip but I've definitly stepped up the boss game.
I kinda like it...
A few weeks ago I felt a lump on my throat and thought nothing of it. Figured it'd go away. It didn't. I went to the doctor on Thursday to have it checked out. He said it's most likely a swollen lymphnode which can often happen for no particular reason. I'm on antibiotics for a couple weeks to see if that takes care of it. If not, he said i'd need to see a specialist to determine the cause of the swelling. Eeek.
I'm very tired today because I stayed out late after a 12 hour work shift, had some drinks, and saw the movie Red, which was pretty awesome. I want to take a nap now.

just remember the # 1 rule of management, You can get anyone to do anything if you ask them, versus telling them. Hope the lump is nothing.
