I have a question to ask the general populous of this here Intranerd-net...........As stated below in my previous entry, I have recently lost my Grand-Pa.

This is coming from a person who has grown up with friends, not a lot of them but enough to keep me busy and well centered through lifes ups n downs, and a few that I tought were closer then I thought they really were.

So I am away in Texas while all the funeral stuffs is going on, I get sympathy from everyone in the band I work for, people I work with at my day job and other family members on my moms side of the family..........then comes Friday night and Saturday........the day of and day after the Obit. was in the paper to let the world know we have another ANGEL watching over us................I get 2 TEXT messages from people back home, normally this would not bother me BUT the messages were from MY 2 CLOSEST FRIENDS--------------------SO I THOUGHT


Why in the world would people that I hold close to my heart and let in to my family be so freakin Rude and not even have the respect to talk to me one voice to one voice.............They had to send a freakin text message?

All I can come up with is "CHICKENS" and weak minded to have an intelligent conversation with a person who is going through a rough time.......

Now here is my question to you.

Since we are part of the "New Age" with all this technology and shit, Is it acceptable to send sympathy with E-Mail and or Text messages, to people that you interact with on a daily or weekly basis, people whom you converse with verbaly?
