I have been in a self-imposed semi-exile for the last month or so, and I really don't mind it. More reading and movie watching and less going to dumb bars to spend too much money and hate people.
Moving sucks, I have had to do 3 complete move out/ins in the last 3 months. But the new apartment seems pretty nice, I am living in the largest room I think I have ever lived in, and desperately need to buy furnishings.
I recently read the Road by Cormac McCarthy, and don't let the Oprah's Book Club award fool you, it is an amazing book. Maybe Oprah's got good taste, who knew?

Davis is about a hundred times more comfortable than LA, I miss me some hippies. Maybe a trip to G St next weekend is in order.
