I want to go to the party tonight, but I don't know where it is
dia:
check your email sweetie smile I'd love very much to see you there.
dia:
We never did have time to talk. It was so busy in there, I'm guessing 60 people or so packed into that room at least. Email me smile

I love the rain
I especially love it when the sky is really dark.
I wish we got more lightning around here
debrajean:
I think one of the things I liked about it was the history involved...but we could call anything masturbation.

YES!YES!YES!

That's exactly what I'm going to do.

I am going to start my own zombie-slave army.

How fucking cool it will be. No more middle of the night beer runs. Instead, I will just grab one of my zombie-slaves and say "Hey zombie-slave, go get me some beer and be quick about it"

on the milk topic:
What really disturbed me was the flawed reasoning of that site, such as saying some guy's arthritis was caused by pasteurized milk. I'm sure some doctors talk out their ass, but I think the idea that diseases are good things that should be encouraged and only occur when the organism needs to be purified not only contradicts all the other information I've heard on the subject, but my own personal experience as well. Even their evidence itself was biased. For instance, they "disprove" a report that indicated 11 out of 13 cases of food poisoning in chees could be traced back to raw milk. They did mention other variables for three or four cases and attribute one to processed milk, but that still leaves 5 cases from raw milk and 3 from processed. They then go on to say that raw milk is safer than processed.

Nothing wrong with a person wanting to drink it straight out of the cow of course, but I'd go for week-old pasteurized stuff over week-old raw any day.

Buffy has survived a mighty long time to kill the evils of the undead. But thanks for the offer, I'd love some zombie slave delivered presents - it's very unique.

I went driving around today, trying to find a part time job.( I hate to do it, but the bills are stacking up ) I love seeing the aftermath of a storm.
I hate having to clean up all the tree branches and other shit in my yard, but it's worth it to see all the destruction courtesy of Mother Nature.

We got a shitload...

You have got to be shitting me!!

The Dead Kennedys are touring?
Thank fucking god that Jello isn't involved with this one. For more than half my life, the DKs have represented honor, and integrity in punk rock. Any fucking group that had the Government on their ass like they did(for the Frankenchrist insert), and stick to their guns is deserving of all our respect....

mtlqueen:
thanks (*wink*) Even with my "mom hair"? (see thread with random pics in girls section)
i have a hard time swallowing that the dead kennedys are touring again. i actually have a hard time with any band (of integrity) reforming and touring. but of course i am going to see twisted sister. that's different. no "substance" and all fun.

In one of his books, Kurt Vonnegut says that the dark ages never ended; we're in the middle of them right now. I've always been influenced by his nihilistic views of our world. (I actually should have his name at the top of my favorite book list)

Reading in the paper today that W just bypassed congress to ensure that "faith based" organizations receive funds...

I was listening to Bad Brains earlier today and it got me all fired up. I realized that I haven't heard any music in the last few years that has affected me.
Yeah, i like the White Stripes, Hives, Strokes,etc.. but none of them seem to have the same energy as the earlier punk bands.
Am I just turning into a fogey? Maybe the music...

pantstx:
thankfully there are bands that keep it alive- born dead icons, tragedy, etc... these bands are carrying the torch.
shinydemon:
no man... your not becoming a fogey. I used to see Bad Brains any chance i could get. HR could bring the place to a near riot every time. I think earlier punk bands had more energy... were less mainstream like punk is now.

I'm hitting the bricks today - Literally. I put a brick path from my front gate to my doorstep a couple months ago. Now that it has rained enough to thoroughly soak the underlying mud, my brick path looks like a nineteenth century skate park blackeyed

It's raining again. I actually enjoy the wet weather, but I do get bored with chores that keep me in the house.
Does anybody think that we can avoid this war? I feel like the rest of the world is trying to keep us from diving headfirst into a conflict that we decided to get into already, no matter what. skull
