I spent the better part of my day buying plants and shit (literally - chicken manure) at the nursery, and planting them around the yard.

I've lived here for over three years now, and the yard (and the house for that matter) still looks like a construction zone. The toy bulldozer and dumptrucks add to that effect.

The thing is; I have very clear ideas of what I want to do with the place, it's just that it costs a shitload of $$$ to remodel or landscape. I'm not crying here. Don't get me wrong, things are coming along. The pace is just a lot slower than I envisioned.

We aren't the biggest white trash in the neighborhood, but it's a close race for second . While the guy across the street is having a pool built; I'm getting ready to clean the leaves and cat turds out of the tractor tire that the kids use as a sandbox (I built a lightweight lid, but it never goes back on ).

I forget where I was going with this. Oh well. If any of you out there see that guy from "This Old House" or any of those type of shows..Kick 'em in the nuts for me
