So after watching the WAR on TV all day yesterday (In two minute segments), I had a personal revelation. It all makes sense to me now.
Right or wrong, this is how it should be in the world. In this New World Order / Global Corporate Empire, the power needs to be controlled by the main superpower. I heard one talking head say that something like 14 percent of the world's oil supply comes out of Iraq. I think that, in order to maintain POWER, the Empire needs to control the oil (our economy is fueled by it) if not the government who "owns" it.
All Idealism aside, The Dollar is Power. Government (including the USA) is simply a means for protecting Corporate interests. Freedom is an illusion - They already amended the budget in congress to eliminate the "tax cuts" so that the people can finance this war. Tax = Labor for most of us. That means we will spend more of our life working to pay for millitary protection/enforcement of the Global Empire.
