I'm back on two wheels !! smile smile I got the parts the other day and I'm back on the road. I'm not the greatest mechanic but these jobs get a little easier every time I start wrenching.

I went out last weekend in the Tenderloin and got SHITHOUSED. When I woke up the next morning my wallet was gone. What a horrible feeling. I didn't have any cuts or scabs, so I figure no one mugged me. It's not like I was carrying any gold cards either. I made all the appropriate calls to cancel my ATM and my Video membership cards. It's scary now to think that some fucker could possibly use my ID for some nefarious purpose.

The weirdest part though is how aware I am of not having a wallet in my pocket. I never noticed it when it was there. But now, my ass feels all lopsided. I'd be willing to bet that if I measured them, my left cheek (wallet side) would be a little smaller.

that's cool i was lit on coffee and felt the intellectualizing of gutterpunk bashing was hitting me a lil' personal, and since i do have computer access and most of my people don't, i had to take a defensive stance and roll out my contrary opinion, which is based on personal experiences that make me a lil' emotional, as for where your sympathies lie, that is cool and all, but one of my points was that i don't accept, expect or attempt to cultivate sympathy, it is my firm belief that anyone outside my experience would sell me up the river in a heartbeat when it came down to serious shit, i have had no personal experience to change that opinion, i have been left holding the bag by people who said there were sympathetic before so you can see where a chip like that would come from and i hope it doesn't come off as personal, because my anger and contempt is definately general, i enjoy reading your posts and do respect the fact that you put it out there, so to speak, as far as your beliefs go, and even though this is an impersonal electric medium, i feel there is sincerity in your words that i can detect, i may be wrong, this is new to me, communicating in this medium, so if i have slighted or completely disrespected, i would be the first to admit that it is probably out of ignorance but that my attempts are definately sincere, thanks for the shout, peace@love, raze the fear to see the understanding....

That left cheek comment and the imprint in that back pocket are the reason I carry a money clip and my cards in with my cell phone.
