Today I'm a lumberjack. Well, a tree trimmer anyway. I have to prune a couple trees in the yard. I don't know what I'm doing but I did read up on it in a couple of the Wife's garden books. whatever
This may be my last journal entry. I hope I don't cut my arm off or break my neck wink wish me luck

Well, we survived the mountains (and vice versa) over the weekend. I watched The Boy get his face smashed with his sled, Made him cry when I hit him in the neck with a slushball, Sat by while The Girl ate twelve pounds of grey snow, And got drunk enough to get threatened with death by HER. I love family vacations wink

So on another note;...

Ugh... The DK's? With or without Jello... Geez. And GBH? My 1st punk show was GBH/Agnostic Front at the Cuban Club, Tampa, FL. Ha ha ha ha. I bet they're bald as fuck now. No matter because "Give Me Fire" is still a great song. And The Circle Jerks were always marginally good, but Keith's loud mouth and short stature makes up for it. It was enough to make me do a homemade india ink tattoo of their name on my ankle when I was in jr high.. Ha ha.

I'm rounding up the folks and heading to the hills (Tahoe that is). The wife has a photo gig up there this weekend, so the kids and I will be making snowmen and riding saucers.
I was considering putting skis on the little ones, but we only get up there every couple years. I think it might be a waste of money when I...

So, I keep seeing shit about SG and how popular the site is. I believe it 'cause it's a great place to waste the hours. I have noticed, though, that most of the people on the boards are regulars whose names I recognise.
Are the other million or so fans just peepers?
youthdecayed:
i've got no problem with the fact that a lot of the members dont post or really seem to exist. It keeps the community small and more personable.
butterfly2:
Hahah aww. Does your wife know that you're on the site?

That's to bad about DK. But, how can you expect things to be even similar without jello? *sigh*

I am a big fuckin' hypocrite:

I went a longwinded rant a little while back about how fucked it is that the DKs are touring without Jello. Well, they're playing down the street from me tonight and I couldn't resist.
I guess I'm just a sucker when I don't have to go too far out of my way to be disappointed. Who knows?, maybe it...

So it turns out that I did have a credit card in my wallet when it was stolen last week. I don't usually carry it with me, but I had it in there for some reason or another.

I noticed that it was gone a couple days ago and called it in. Whoever got it did use it but I had the last laugh. I...

I'm back on two wheels !! smile smile I got the parts the other day and I'm back on the road. I'm not the greatest mechanic but these jobs get a little easier every time I start wrenching.

I went out last weekend in the Tenderloin and got SHITHOUSED. When I woke up the next morning my wallet was gone. What a horrible feeling. I didn't have...

that's cool i was lit on coffee and felt the intellectualizing of gutterpunk bashing was hitting me a lil' personal, and since i do have computer access and most of my people don't, i had to take a defensive stance and roll out my contrary opinion, which is based on personal experiences that make me a lil' emotional, as for where your sympathies lie, that is cool and all, but one of my points was that i don't accept, expect or attempt to cultivate sympathy, it is my firm belief that anyone outside my experience would sell me up the river in a heartbeat when it came down to serious shit, i have had no personal experience to change that opinion, i have been left holding the bag by people who said there were sympathetic before so you can see where a chip like that would come from and i hope it doesn't come off as personal, because my anger and contempt is definately general, i enjoy reading your posts and do respect the fact that you put it out there, so to speak, as far as your beliefs go, and even though this is an impersonal electric medium, i feel there is sincerity in your words that i can detect, i may be wrong, this is new to me, communicating in this medium, so if i have slighted or completely disrespected, i would be the first to admit that it is probably out of ignorance but that my attempts are definately sincere, thanks for the shout, peace@love, raze the fear to see the understanding....

So my bike is still out of service while I wait for the parts to arrive frown . I was supposed to get them two days ago, but they were sent to the wrong person who (for whatever reason) decided to keep them for his/her own bike. (ASSHOLE!!)

So now I'm on the "shame train" Yup, I have to take the bus to work. I actually...

I quit my new job this morning smile . The funny thing is, today was my first day.

I was going to pick up a part time job for a little extra "walking around money". I actually applied at a few places and even sent a resume to Elph. But yesterday, while I was at my real job, I realized that I love my time more...

So true. If you are happy that is truly the most valuable thing in existence. Be free, and enjoy it. Cheers for valuing life over money!

Money doesn't buy you happiness, as they say. I hated clocking in and out with 200 other people every day in a steady, safe bland job.

Have you ever had one of those colds where you blow different colored snot out of each nostril?
I have a pretty good concept ot the human anatomy (and I learn more everytime a new SG puts up a pictorial wink ), so I'm pretty sure that my brain must be the size of a walnut in order to allow space for the gallons of slime...

I stayed in on New Years Eve for the first time in years. It's nice not to be hung over puke on the first day of the year. Maybe I'll make a habit of it..
division_x:
I did that a year ago. This year I partied like a rawkstar and I was prepared for the dreaded hangover. But I think I'll cut down on the drinking from here on out.
