Whoa.
Just got through "The End of Evangelion" and I am freaking out. Does anyone get this?

So, Adam was created from Lilith, and all the Evas are copied from Adam, except 01 who is directly from Lilith?
And what was Ikari trying to do with Ayanami before she went all mergy with Lilith? He was trying to, what, hijack the 3rd Impact? But I don't get how or why exactly. And, okay. So Shinji wills Instrumentality to happen. And everyone's Absolute Terror field goes away and we all turn into soup. But then he's like, "No wait, being soup sucks. Let's be not soup again." But why? Because he's alone? I thought the purpose of Instrumentality was that no one is alone anymore. I think I'm missing something. But I get that he's like new Adam and he rejects "first wife" Lilith/Ayanami/his mom (ew!) for Asuka (Eve?) and everyone's AT fields can back. But does everyone come back? Only if they will it. But is it that only he and Asuka will it? So they're Adam and Eve. Hence "Neo Genesis."

And who kills Kaji? SEELE or Misato?
