Fires everywhere. Two miles away. Everything here covered in ash that floats down on us like snow. Little ash bits (of trees, homes, living creatures) sail around, covering cars and dusting my hair. It looks like sunset all day long... Red light everywhere. The school has issued breathing masks to us. It helps, but my eyes still water and sting.
Today I found out that someone has been using my debit card info to buy huge amounts of clothing. In France. So my account is currently frozen. If I suddenly vanish from SG, that's the reason. Can't get to my money. Hopefully that won't happen before I can fixt this, but it's a possibility.

I take it all things are OK with your debit card. You also might want to check your credit to make sure they didn't do any more damage. I had a friend who had both of his bank accounts cleared out a couple of weeks ago. Some random guy in FLA. walked in to a couple of banks and cleared them out. The bank has returned all of his money to him, but he is freaked out, to say the least.
