I *knew* that moron was wrong. Never go to Rock Zone for a piercing unless you're snotty or outspoken enough to get exactly what you want from older ethnic males without them talking you out of it. It also helps if you dont' mind that the whole thing is not very professional; ie he had an autoclave but didn't use it, didn't confidently know the piercing I wanted by name. As you can see from the pictors, the cbr he put in was enormous...way too big to be good for healing purposes, and looked awkward what with being so big anyway. Fortunately, I had a circular barbell sitting around, so I replaced it myself. Nearly damn well killed myself trying to get the external threading through, but at least I don't have what feels like a 5 pound weight hanging off my ear anymore.
