shortchanged

so yeah...

i have shingles.

it kinda sucks... especially the whole sharp stabbing pain thing. if anyone would like to come over and rub ointment on me i'd greatly appreciate it.

i guess the painting of my room, inhaling all the fumes, got to my immune system and the voster virus just took over. only thing is that if any of the nerves affected have been severly damaged there's nothing i can do about the pain until the nerves heal... and nervous tissue is the slowest to heal.

the initial rash wasn't too serious, it was fairly localized, nothing like the pics i've seen. but there was a small cluster of little bumps over my spine that has no feeling at all... guess i kinda lucked out. hopefully there's no serious long term damage. just lucky it was on my abdomen and not somewhere else...

like my penis.

how much would that suck?
