wow! i've been away for quite a while. this has been due to a combination of laziness, being overly busy and the holidays.

i have an opportunity to purchase some of Sas Christians works and i'll keep you posted about that.

Feb 2, 2006: update. i just ordered "Nuff Said." can't wait to see it.



i typically try to alternate my artists such that an equal number of males and females are reprented, but when i saw this i knew i had to share it so today i want to introduce a graffiti artist who goes by the name Banksy.

here is a quote from his site followed by some of the works that really caught my eye.

"Imagine a city where grapffiti wasn't illegal, a city where everybody could draw whatever they liked. Where every street was awash with a million colours and little phrases. Where standing at a bus stop was never boring. A city that felt like a living breating thing which belonged to everybody, not just the estate agents and barons of big business. Image a city like that and stop leaning against the wall - it's wet."
